Ben is a multi-instrumentalist musician, songwriter, producer and performing artist with a passion for creating and performing heartfelt, captivating music. Continuously writing and performing from a young age, Ben found triple j success with high school band, Benny and The Dukes.

 

After high school, he received a scholarship to study music at the Victorian College of The Arts. In 2016 he continued his studies at the prestigious Berklee College of Music where he majored in Contemporary Writing  and Production.

Ben moved to Los Angeles to work as a session musician, and was engaged by acclaimed film composer, Christopher Young, at his studio. Ben also performed his original music with Jonathan Elyashiv (bass) and Ross Hodgkinson (drums) at iconic venues including the Viper Room, Hotel Cafe and The Mint was engaged by Fender Digital to provide lead guitar tuition from their studio and online platform, Fender Play.

 

During the  COVID-19 pandemic Ben returned to Australia in 2020, continued his role with Fender and established a studio in Fitzroy, Melbourne, working and producing for local artists along with his own music.

In 2021 Ben was engaged to play  the role of Bjorn in the beloved ABBA tribute band, BABBA, performing in over 130 shows with the group while touring Australia. 

​

During 2024 Ben relocated to Sydney to focus on his writing and own music projects. He has recently returned from a Studio Residency at Studio Silo, Fish Factory (writing and recording) in Iceland.

​

After releasing the single Trying To Be Brave Ben was called "a musical architect of emotional space" by Happy Mag, and the song was placed on rotation on Australian radio. 

​
