Ben Provest is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Originally from Australia, his playing blends contemporary country and Americana with a deep foundation in jazz, drawing on influences across roots music, pop, and improvisation.

A versatile and in-demand musician, Ben has performed with a wide range of artists including Ryan Larkins, Abby Christo, Imogen Clark, Dylan J, and Melanie Dyer. He has appeared on stages at major events such as CMA Fest, and has performed extensively at venues and corporate events including the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Ben has toured nationally in Australia, including three tours with renowned ABBA tribute show BABBA. His work also extends into composition and production—he assisted acclaimed film composer Christopher Young during the scoring of Pet Sematary, and has created thousands of backing tracks, tablature, and instructional content as part of a lead guitar curriculum for Fender Play.

As an artist, Ben completed a creative residency in Iceland where he wrote and recorded “Trying To Be Brave,” earning airplay on triple j and critical praise in Australia. His work has been described as “a musical architect of emotional space,” reflecting a focus on melody, texture, and storytelling.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Contemporary Music from the Victorian College of the Arts, where he studied guitar with James Sherlock and Peter Petrucci. He also earned a Diploma of Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee College of Music, studying guitar with Tim Miller, Kim Perlak, Sheryl Bailey, and Guy Van Duser, as well as participating in ensemble work under Alain Mallet with music by Sting and Paul Simon, and studying the music of The Beatles with Lauren Passarelli.
